Vava'u Wall Quilt

This iteration in the Shapes series of quilts and wallhangings starts with the leftover scraps from cutting pentagons.  Cotton and linen offcuts appliquéd on to a textured aubergine linen. Hand quilted with rust coloured sashiko thread and backed and bound with a grey-blue cotton. Four hanging corners added after photographing so that it can be hung in any orientation.
